My name is Chris Elliott and back in 1969 I got my first chance to drive a Unimog 411 with a front mount brush hog. It made such an impression that I purchased my first 406 in 1997.

After starting my own optical business in 1992, I had thoughts of expanding my business into a line that would be more interesting and Unimogs turned out to be the ideal line.

Because I have been involved in the fire service for 32 years and I've sold fire equipment and apparatus, I target Unimogs in brush truck applications, as well as general use. So far I've assisted a number of fire departments and a commercial wildland fire equipment company in their search for the ideal truck.

Because of the small size of our business, we associate with professional, well-established companies to supply trucks to suit buyers' needs. We use Adam's Refinishing for excellent repainting, Rhode Island Ventilating for custom metal fabrication, Smithfield Diesel for major mechanical work, Boston Fuel Injection for authorized Bosch service and Motors East, a Rhode Island licensed auto dealer.

Our main office is in Cumberland, Rhode Island which is where I'm normally found. It's always best to call before stopping by to make sure someone will be here.
